I feel like people who haven’t been up close to swans don’t really understand how fuckoff big they are.
Your big-end male Canada geese max out at around 14lbs. Your big-end male swans weigh in at over 30. Trumpeter swan adults have completely black bills, black feet, and are a bit more white than this. They’re also one of the bigger species.
Anyway there’s a reason swans have killed people and geese haven’t. They’re really fucking big.
