(humble brag alert) I made a technically perfect german chocolate cake today but it still kinda sucks due to the unfortunate nature of a german chocolate cake

#its like a gorgeous like light chocolate cake tamped down by a thick layer of gooey chewy coconut and pecan frosting?#so it just sweet and bland and a weird mix of textures#my dad loved it tho and it was for his birthday so
