As the marketing machine for the Ender’s Game movie ramps up (like you, I saw several commercials during some of my favorite shows this week), LGBT advocates such as the group Geeks Out are urging you to Skip Ender’s Game because it the invention of a bigoted anti-LGBT advocate and racist who has used the money he made off the story to spread hate and intolerance.

I’m not saying you guys shouldn’t see this movie but seriously please don’t see this movie.
If you wanna see the movie THAT BADLY (I’ll admit even without the writer being a horrible human being I have little to no interest in seeing it) just torrent or download it. Seriously, don’t give this guy any more money to further spread his bigoted influence
There’s better scifi out there to enjoy than Ender’s Game (stuff that isn’t, ya know, produced by bigots.)
it’s really important to me that people boycott this movie because there is a very good chance that money from it will be used to harm me personally and all of my LGBT friends and siblings
if you want to see it please at the very least do not give your money to it & download online
people intentionally hurt me frequently and i do not like the idea of others unintentionally giving their money to my oppression so if my followers could reblog this to get the word out that would be cool
If you don’t want to see Ender’s Game because Orson Scott Card is a piece of human garbage, I support you 100%!! But just so you know, he’s not making ANY money off of ticket sales. He also had no input in the film other than (obv) writing the book.
