Omg I just realized something hilarious! My mom always tells everyone how “stoic” I am, especially doctors and stuff, like, “she never tells me how she’s feeling or if there’s something wrong! I worry so much because she never tells me anything!”
Anyways what I just realized, after like 20 years…May I reciprocate with equal feelings, that A. you should indeed drink lots of water but B. that one’s mother also does not entirely grasp the concept of holding calm or productive conversations, and more often than not if I try to explain my point of view on anything, it results in the mother going into another room, slamming doors, or making noise to ignore said perspective.
I’m assuming that by “ones mother” you are referring to your own, in which case I extend my mom-related sympathies and remind you that were going back to college very soon!
