#stop my coworker was telling me she was so freaked out bc she’d found a dollar bill on the ground and she’d just read a story about a woman#who was supposedly hospitalized with a fentanyl overdose. which i immediately thought was bs but I didn’t say that i was like omg that’s so#crazy im gonna google it and i did and and it was so i told her and i tried to tell her in a nice way but i think she still felt stupid and#i felt bad. had almost the exact same conversation w my roommate who insisted there’d been incidents of people infecting random victims with#aids via syringe on the streets of dhaka. anyways i always feel like the right thing to do is debunk stuff like that but people don’t like i#it. and then IM the asshole
