A red squirrel adopting an orphaned squirrel from it’s abandoned nest. It’s quite rare for squirrels to interact but they’re known to investigate their nearby neighbours and become familiar with their unique calls. Squirrels are known to adopt orphaned squirrels if they fail to hear their parents calls for a few days.
