9/26/2016- Pony acquisition post #366: ****SET COMPLETER!!! G1 Napper, G1 Baby Drummer, G3 Desert Blossom, and cute G1 books!

YES!!!! I finally completed my G1 Sparkle Pony set with the sleepy little Napper! She’s such a sweetie and reminds me of my sleepy bestie who loves to nap. Just look at her cute little eyes and sweet pose! She also came with some friends! G1 Baby Drummer is from the Playtime Baby Brothers set and I love his dark blue color and his sweet little freckles and pose! And G3 Desert Blossom is quite the looker- a cactus themed pony is so unique and her hair colors are wonderful!
These G1 books are adorable as well! “Sweet Dreams” is a toddler board book so it has a short story, but the artwork is so cute and features the Newborn Ponies from 1988! The other two books were both released in 1984, “My Little Pony and the Country Fair” and “My Little Pony and the New Friends”, and feature similar characters. The stories are cute and charming, and it’s interesting to see that in both books, Medley seems to love children, while Firefly hates them! I need to include that in their personalities now! Which one are you most like- Firefly or Medley?
