You can tell when someone doesnât really have a strong ethical framework beyond a shallow âListen To [Oppressed Person]â because theyâll hear one person go âHealthcare should be universalâ and another go âRacism is greatâ and theyâll be like âWell theyâre both trans⌠:/â
I need you people to understand that there is not a single marginalized group that doesnât contain members with heinous, regressive beliefs, and trying to determine who to believe based on the â"validity of their experiencesââ is no way to make political and ethical judgments
Hey so a lot of terfs are reblogging this and many have followed me as a result of this post and I would like to make it clear that I do want terfs to kill themselves, thank you please block me and then die in that order
THE COMEDY WRITES ITSELF
Yeah itâs objectively funny that people are stupid enough to think that "marginalization in one aspect doesnât preclude the ability to marginalize othersâ is some weird statement about like, how being transphobic is okay.
The only thing that would be stronger than that on the comedy scale, I think, is getting six notes on a post you make on a dying microblogging website about your failing marriage. I canât relate, thankfully, because my marriage is going great, and if I needed support I can seek it from my multiple irl friends and family and not internet-addicted catholics, but can you imagine the kind of Rodney Dangerfield levels of patheticomedy that could come from someone whoâs soâ oh shit Iâm so sorry
