Autumn is here once again, and with it come the flowers of Haemanthus albiflos. The flower clusters are often compared to a paint brush, looking as though it had just barely been dipped into a can of yellow paint. Of course, the yellow is actually pollen on the anthers of the little white flowers which are crowded together beneath. From South Africa.
