Cosplay Safety Buttons : Glomp me not
A set of buttons that help cosplayers or those who go to conventions with fragile costumes or needing personal space and to help those not in cosplay to see if a cosplayer is alright with hugging or “Glomping.” The term “Glomp,” or “Glomping” is when someone takes a running start to greet you with a hug, this is also referred to as a ‘tackle hug.’
There are three kinds:
- GREEN = GLOMPABLE! I am okay to glomp safe! GO WILD! But not too wild.
- YELLOW = ASK ME! Please be sure to ask before glomping! You might be in a hurry or busy with something.
- RED = NOT SAFE! Please DO NOT glomp me! My cosplay might be fragile or I might be having a bad day.
