To everyone considering a new name…. I advocate for making it a long one. Every syllable you add is another moment you get to hear someone saying your name, one of the most exquisite pleasures a human can experience

#plus it increases opportunities for nicknames. which can be even more enjoyable even if it is shorter#bc of the social bond it implies#anyways i extended my name by a syllable and am pleased with the results#haven’t acquired any new nicknames. but its a pandemic so my socializing is limited#its so funny that all my professors and classmates only know my new name.. im like ohoho ive tricked you....
