Ok I’m only halfway through my dc history class but i think we should end the electoral college and give everyone the right to vote even children and babies
#did you know that there was like 10 years after the civil war where dc was self governing but it got shut down bc of racism#and then 90 years of government by appointed commissioner#and now they still don’t have a seat in congress#anyways kids should be able to vote people will say they’ll just vote with their parents but that’s what they said about women’s suffrage
