Are you looking for a blood-drenched beach read? Check out my summer camp slasher novella, EARTH CAMP!
Itโs Friday the 13thโฆ in the 27th century. Rabbit was looking forward to her last summer as a counselor at Camp Washington, despite the recent scandal that almost shut the camp down. She and her friends were supposed to spend the summer enjoying Earthโs wilderness before they return to the Moon for college. But when counselors start dropping dead, Rabbit realizes sheโll be lucky if she leaves Earth alive.
this ship was in st john’s harbour for literal years and every time you drove by it would be tilting more to the side, like, to the point that everyone was afraid it would tip over. everyone wanted it gone but no one wanted to get in the frigging ship and sail it away because it was so infested with rats. anyways, i completely forgot about it so it’s good to know it’s still chugging away, infested with rats
They are all sorts of colors! Even those that appear black to human eyes are often just very, very dark but their colors show under adequate lighting.
the medicinal leech is actually very colorful!
Earthworm-eating Japanese mountain leeches range from bright yellow-orange to tomato red (I wish I could have some of these)
There are also pale, colorless subterranean leeches, the strangest of which is this one species from just one cave with a lining of leg-like tentacles.
Other common pond and river leeches are in earthy tones for camouflage, but still very nice patterns that probably make them confusing to predatory fish and blend in with pebbles and leaves.
