October 1st is International Raccoon Appreciation Day and to celebrate it nothing better than the amazing Oreo Raccoon, the inspiration for the character of Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Please remember that WILD ANIMALS ARE NOT PETS. At first I was appalled that the owners of Oreo were taking him to birthday parties—but then upon reading more I found that their mission is to educate people about the problems of exotic pets, and that a lot of their animals are rescued from bad situations.
