This is so important! I’ve been in a number of situations with the police where my white girlhood was probably all that kept me from landing in serious doodoo. God, a few weeks ago I purposefully walked really slowly in front of a policeman’s car to piss him off because he was making me get off the road back to where there was sidewalk. I’m sooo lucky and it’s 100% horrible that other people are not given the same leeway that I am
