No, being cis/straight/white/male doesn’t mean you automatically won’t face any difficulty in life.
However, you will not face difficulty because you are cis/straight/white/male.
This should not be hard to understand.
Too many people think of privilege as something one has over, when it is not an over.
It something one is permitted socially to do that another person of a different status is not.
This guy posted on my university’s confession page about how he thinks the concept of privilege is bullshit bc he’s a white cishet dude and he was kidnapped as a kid and saw his brother get shot and he has horrible PTSD and it’s like… You are completely missing the point but I can’t really say that to a stranger who just opened up about his horrific childhood trauma
