Do you ever just meet a person and their sense of logic stupefies you??

There’s this girl in my College (take in mind that this is an Animal College that every lesson is about animals and identifying animals and how to look after animals) and we had to clean out the Hamsters and she blurted out “these mice are adorable” and I just-

The teacher just said we are cleaning out hamsters how are you calling them mice. So at first I’m like ‘no big deal, they’re both rodents, they look similar. She just made a mistake, just correct her’ so I go up to her and I say “these are hamsters you know” and she looks at me like I’M the idiot and says “but hamsters have tails, silly”- I lost it. My brain literally blacked out for a second.

Luckily I only ever had her for that one lesson, but the other day my friend had her in her lesson and she told me they were cleaning out Stumpy (which is a big old bearded dragon without a tail) and she had walked up to the glass and loudly proclaimed “what a poor snake”-

We have been doing this course for a little under a year. This girl has been cleaning out these same animals for the past year, and does not recognise these animals.

The human mind scares me sometimes.
