#EVERY TARA FEEL #Such an underrated character #Can we talk for a mo about her relationship with Buffy? #How /she/ was the person Buffy told about Spike? #Aka all of her issues in s6 #Their conversation in The Body? #Buffy didn’t have a one on one conversation with anyone else that whole episode #Not really #But she could talk to Tara #Because Tara is strong and nonjudgemental and so fucking amazing 

 #it’s so important to remember that THIS IS A CHARACTER WHO COMES FROM AN ABUSIVE BACKGROUND #this is a character who is USED TO BEING MADE THE VICTIM #and in her run on the show and very likely before we see her stand up and REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM OR LET ANYONE ELSE BE THE VICTIM #tara is the fucking moral compass of this damn show and she guides everyone in a way that no other character does because she is so pure … #and GOOD #and full of love #and she cares so deeply about everyone including herself and does not let people pull any shit with her #she is the strongest character in this series and i refuse to place her in a little box as willow’s girlfriend #she is so much more than a label and her identity couldnt even BEGIN to be defined by her relationship status #most beautiful character most lion-hearted character most ethical character #queen of my HEART

#she knew how to look after herself #and EVERYONE ELSE #without sacrificing her ideals #still had a sense of humour and knew how to have fun #but also took no shit #stood up to her demons and taught Willow and Buffy to be brave #it will ALWAYS be Tara that I think about when I need to be brave
