this is complete sexist bullshit. kiss a girl when you know she wants to be kissed.
don’t refer to her talking as “babbling,” do not fucking demean her by kissing when you’re arguing in an attempt to get her to shut up, do not kiss her in front of people if she’s not comfortable with that (i know i’m not), do not kiss her when she cries unless you are 500% positive she’s okay with that (if someone kisses me while i’m crying, i will cry ten times more).

dear lord this is my LEAST FAVORITE TROPE OF ALL TIME. like in movies/tv when the girl is “babbling” about her legtimate fears/anxieties/things she’s angry at the dude about and then HE INTERRUPPTS HER BY PUTTING HIS MOUTH ON HER MOUTH and its supposed to be romantic???????? like he might as well just put his fucking hand over her mouth or slap some duct tape over it wow true love
