I basically told my work partner today he can have the contract if there’s only funding for one of us… feel good about it too. This job is fine but it’s a) not gonna last more than another year b) not doing anything in particular for my life or career except pay me money. Which literally any job would do lmfao

#on the one hand its nice to have a job that uses 0% of my brain bc i have a lot of brain energy left over for creative projects. but on the#other hand i feel like im one of those people on severance like i don’t even know what i do all day#and its nice to have a long commute bc again i get lots of writing done. but on the other day its 15 hours of my LIFE every WEEK and i only#spend half of it writing
