46 notes #fail#i read a study of french mothers comparing those who ate anise (licorice) flavored food during pregnancy vs those who didn’t#and whether their babies enjoyed licorice or not. and somehow decided that it wasn’t a gene that determines whether you like licorice or not#but whether your mom ate it while pregnant. it stuck w me i was like we must start recommending pregnant ppl to eat licorice and raise a new#generation of licorice enjoyers. anyways my mom n i both like licorice despite being American
