I’m so glad i saw this post and googled the species bc I ran into some on my walk today!! I don’t know a lot of wild plants so it was exciting.

immediately regretted getting the blood sap on my hand i washed them quickly but there’s still a lil orange staini also saw: mourning cloak comma spring azure and cabbage butterfly! and a tiger beetle and juvenile great blue heronother burds too but nothing interesting
