last image was inspiring

Do people know someone actually did that? A 14 year old kid online spent months pretending to be a government agency recruiter that was interested in recruiting his friend, grooming him before presenting him with the task to kill him under the guise of the friend proving himself and to stop a terrorist threat?

Their names were censored but I think it was one of the first cases of the victim being charged for inciting their own murder and happened in the early 2000’s.
