Because LOOK AT IT, it’s the most utterfuckingly adorable pretend-leaf you’ll ever meet, no?!? The smol paws. That mush with its tiny snout. Perfect. *Chef’s kiss*

This is one we raised from eggs laid in my niece’s moth trap. Here’s it cocoon, made from leaves of its food plant (blackthorn) and silk spun by the caterpillar.
