Ok this may or may not be deranged behavior byt i bought this grey stuffed cat online bc she looked like the closest modern descendant of my favorite stuffed animal (on the left duh) but it was only until i put them next to each other that I realized how much of Sassy’s charm is in how her head is turned?? I want to keep looking now but unfortunately I don’t even know what brand Sassy is bc the letters wore off over a decade ago. I think I’m going to havd to visit some kind of forum…
Ok upon further research I believe Sassy is more likely a Douglas plush bc they have cats in this pose and their higher quality seems higher (the grey aurora cat has that super soft but fragile feel like cheap primark pajamas. It would not have lasted 20 years like Sassy’s material has. Plus it’s not even going the right way like the grain is the opposite of a real cat’s? Major L). However they don’t make cats her exact size (19” and the tail adds nothing) and none at all with a similar color pattern :( not even on eBay i could only find cats from their current line no stuffed cats circa 2000. Pure trafedy

@cooldogsquad SCREAMING but actually i might do this. I could also pull out some stuffing while I’m in there to make her floppier! cooldogsquad said: Ok this is also gonna sound deranged but would cutting off the head and sewing it back on at an angle work?
