I try to take glaze-notes when I’m trying a new thing/think that a certain colour combo/technique will be something I want to replicate going forwards (eg. I want to try & replicate the blue/purple sheen on a crow by slapping one of my blue celadons over the black sgraffito & have purposely noted some glaze/slip/clay combos on this batch that might be useful for that).

They always end up a total mess because somehow I’m always in a bit/a lot of a rush glazing, but so far future me has been able to read them, so that’s what matters. Also my quick-as-possible portraits of each beast make me laugh, so that’s an added bonus!
