fig. 1-3: a visual reminder that these animals are mostly just a tube of poop with fancy stuff around it. egg sacs also appear dark against the light.
fig. 4&5: lets appreciate some details. the spines on the tail & along the inner edge of the carapace. two bean shaped eyes and the third dot-like eye. the fine red lines running from the head down its back left & right to the center are ducts of the osmoregulatory organs.
fig. 6: the clearest shot of the gill… leg… things ive managed yet (they move fast)
fig. 7: slightly fuzzy picture that is trying to demonstrate that you can see the individual eggs in the pouch
