Yesterday’s foray was pretty much a bust, the most interesting thing I found was the eyelash cups (Scutellinia scutellata). And frogs! But it hasn’t rained in a million years and there’s not much else. I think that’s why the ghost pipes are so abundant; there’s enough mycelium to sustain them, but not enough moisture in the soil to allow said mycelium to fruit
