pet peeve: when someone feels the need to couch a joke with a meme formatting technique that adds nothing to the joke.

Like all that “nobody: me: i want to have sex with the brown m&m” bullshit. don’t chain yourself, speak your joke open and freely, without hiding behind a snowclone you use to give yourself permission to joke. just say “i want to have sex with the brown m&m.” it will set you free.
