the shy albatross, also known as the shy mollymawk, is a large seabird found off the coast of australia. they are the only albatross species endemic to australia. with a lifespan of up to 60 years, shy albatrosses form strong pair bonds; however, they reproduce slowly, laying one egg per clutch. they feed primarily on fish, cephalopods, and other sea creatures.
