The owners of the beautiful 1865 Winfield Scott Nearing House in Morris Run, Pennsylvania say that it takes a lot of work to maintain the gorgeous grounds (10 acres) and are no longer feeling up to it. The home is on the National Historic Register and most of the fine antiques will be included. They are asking a reasonable $375,000.
Just look at this fireplace. (And, that’s a greenhouse in front of the home, to grow the plants for the garden.)
