I love psychological thrillers/murder mysteries as a genre bc even if the writing or characters are weak you still get the fun of trying to solve a puzzle :) also there are lots of them which is nice. and they almost never make me sad

although if the puzzle also sucks its a total loss. though I’ll still listen all the way to the endand that’s still hours of free audio entertainment courtesy of the public library
