For Pikas, All the Hard Work is Finally Paying Off! 

After a full summer of labor, the industrious Rocky Mountain National Park pikas are ready for the winter. Pikas are related to rabbits and are only found above tree line, in the alpine tundra. They spend the short summer months working hard to gather plants to eat throughout the long winter.
