Like we all want a better less carceral future, that means you have to stop engaging in carceral logic around these conflicts and like understanding that nuance exists and that trying to make people disappear socially is carceral logic. We need to do better if we are going to create a better world. Instead of just constantly hurting and traumatizing each other. We have to try to make an effort to understand each other and interact in good faith. Including myself, I can absolutely be reactive but it’s so important to breathe and think: is this right? Who is being harmed? What is actually happening? Please murder the cop inside your mind.
