Don't you get tired, finding so many things offensive? Don't get me wrong, I find I agree with you more often than not, but where do you draw the line between someone being deliberately hurtful and you being overly sensitive? You're bound to offend people despite your best efforts and vice versa, is it rational or even possible to take everyone's possible emotional reactions into account? Also, is all the aggressive hostility necessary? Don't you find it counterproductive?

I don’t find being offended exhausting. I find living in a bigoted, ignorant society exhausting. it is no major request to ask people to not be racist, sexist, ableist, etc. Not being a bigot isn’t hard, and if you think it is, you may need to do some personal reflection. If you offend people with a bigoted remark, apologize and correct your behavior. Throwing you hands up and declaring that there’s no point in trying because SOMEONE’S bound to be offended is a weak as hell argument. As a queer woman of Romani descent with mental health issues, I’ve been trodden upon many times, so let me offer you a word of wisdom: sometimes the only way to remind people not to step on you, is to become a snake and bite back. The feelings of oppressors will never be my concern.
