Oh my god i had a dream last night that i was looking at getting a pet squirrel and i was on like the Petsmart page for squirrels and the little blurb was like “We were too impatient the last time we tried to breed squirrels for pets and we’re truly sorry for the pain and damage these insufficiently domesticated creatures caused. But we’ve been working hard for the past couple years and we hope you’ll find that these new squirrels make delightful and safe pets” bc a few years ago thered been a spate of travis the chimp-esque violent squirrel assaults on their owners
