I think sometimes we take for granted living in a post-jepsen era. Imagine living bj when people sincerely thought there might not have been such thing as perfect music. I honestly think that if I lived bj I would also have assumed music was just personal taste or something. It's really wild to think that our understanding of the world is so fragile; I could be so wrong about something by mere virtue of nothing more than being born in another period of time
