magicalhometoursandstuff:

I love New Orleans style, but most of the remodeled homes have the same modern look, so I keep an eye out for unique decor, and this one fits the bill. Itโ€™s even got a small loft.

What a wonderful door. I also love the antique chest behind it.

The ground floor was redone to be open and airy, plus they opened the attic space to make a loft accessed by spiral stairs.

Velvet seating, a mural, and antiques exude old New Orleans style.ย

The dining room is so lovely.ย

The fully remodeled kitchen still has a vintage feel with itโ€™s penny floor tiles, Shaker cabinets and a wall of the original wood cladding. I also love the tie-in of the antique green cabinet.ย

Off the kitchen is a little sitting room.

Isnโ€™t this bedroom off the sitting room, pretty?

They chose the latest tile pattern for the bath, and thereโ€™s a laundry area, too. This is a well-done reno.

Up in the loft is an adorable bedroom and bath.ย

And, in the back is a lovely patio. What a great little house.
