Maybe I’m old (26) but it makes me feel so weird and uncomfortable when i see tik tok or insta videos that are like “my bf reacts to whatever” or just any time they’re filming a supposedly genuine moment between a couple its like. Why are you filming this? Is it worth it? Is it not enough to spend time with the person you love that you have to share it online to get validation from strangers?

#it’s definitely like. a genre. and if they’re funny enough i can ignore it but sometimes#but like if my gf came up recording with her phone I would be like why are you filming this???#also like imagine if you break up with someone and there are still cutesy videos of the two of you being shared across platforms. nightmare
