plants are absolutely wild. i know it’s random mutations building up and forming it that way because being bird shaped was beneficial. those that were a more convincing mimic survived-being pollinated because the bird recognised it, successfully scaring away pests that would eat it and whatnot, but at the same time its way too good, it makes me lose my mind.

most of them even have little eyes :’) the placement of the feathers? the beaks?? the amount of coincidences and versions that had to be whittled away to get such a good design. evolution is just fukcing around and finding out enough times until it accidentally creates a bird again. in some ways it would be more believable if they could see, like what is this nonsense
