trump finalized auctioning off land in the arctic national wildlife refuge to oil and gas companies which would not only damage the ecosystem, negatively impact wildlife, and pollute one of the last environmental regions untouched by human greed but it would also disproportionately affect the Gwich’in who rely on the migration of caribou in that region.

btw it is not too late to reverse this. the nrdc has filed a lawsuit against drilling in the refuge. either contact your elected officials or donate to them so they can continue with the litigation and hopefully come out on top. biden has also said that he plans to permanently ban oil and gas companies from using public land and waters for resource extraction but he won’t be successful unless people actually fight for this.
