Y’all realize kids who go to underfunded, decrepit, “minority-majority” schools—kids who are segregated out of districts’ gifted programs, kids whose addresses dictate that no such program will even be offered in jest—as a rule, like, experience infinitely more stress in every capacity than your woe-is-me, too-much-pressure-to-succeed, my-gift-is-my-eternal-wound ass ever will, right? Right?
