Woke: tuning in at 9pm est 10/22/20 to watch my friend talia perform an experimental dance piece she’s working on for her mfa its on zoom so you can see it from the other side of the country and she’s set up four cameras in different parts of the studio that turns the solo into a quartet and even though she’s blurry and wearing a mask you would recognize her dancing anywhere and at one point she asks you all to turn your cameras on to sing a song together and you find yourself face to face with other old friends, people you haven’t seen in years and didn’t expect to ever see again and you cry and cry and get a headache from crying
