A criminal!!! Possibly. This lad is a melonworm moth, so I’m not sure it was the one eating it? They usually stick to things like cucumber, cantaloupe, squash, pumpkins, and watermelon. If you also have those in your garden it’s possible it was eating them and happened to pupate on a tomato. I’ve never heard of them eating tomato, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible, though!
