Brazilian cherries aren’t related to common cherries at all! They look like this and taste rather sour:

The fruit is formed in the trunk, not the branches!
so was anyone going to tell me that Brazil has god tier fantasy flora or what
as a brazilian i’m so amused by the fact y’all call these brazilian cherries and grape trees, it never occurred to me that THAT was what you’d compare our fruits to. They have their own names here - pitanga and jabuticaba, respectively.
But hey, if you think those look freaky, wait until you find out about guaraná
