@lurkershadow submitted: A Four-spotted Owlfly (Ululodes quadripunctatus) from eastern Maryland, USA, June 2020.  It looks like the love-child of a dragonfly and a butterfly, but is neither.

Yesss I love owlflies! What strange bugs. I think most people are more familiar with their larva, the antlion. This is the first owlfly I think I’ve had submitted, so thank you for sharing! What a great find.
