Icthyologists are so cute they’re like “39 species occur only in this five state area” and call this “great diversity” girl there are 39 species of arthropods living in my basement

1 note #entomology has left me so jaded#still im excited to learn about native fish! i had to buy a book bc the only info online is about fish that people catch and eat#i want to learn the names of all the little guys in my creek :)
