The best way to describe my Cecil cosplay shopping experience would probably be “Yes, that’s a pretty ugly tie… but you need to understand, I’m not looking for an ugly tie. I’m looking for an aggressively hideous and vaguely disconcerting tie. You know, something that makes you slightly uneasy to look at, something inscrutable or subtly reminiscent of viscera.
