God I can’t believe its only been like 5 years in our literal timeline and already the april/andy relationship is already unbearable to experience. 5 years ago we thought it was so adorable! He’s a) like 10 years older than her 2) he can’t do his own laundry??? He says “awesomesauce” after SHE tells him “i love you” for the first time? And ron tells her to “stop acting like a child” when she’sunderstandably upset? They have multiple children together
Has the culture matured to the point where we collectively understand the sadness of april/andy? Or must we must each come individually to the sadness as we eventually rewatch parks and rec for the third and final time?
Is the piercing clarity of the truth worth the loss of innocence?
