over the past two days we watched our wyandotte and grey silkie chicks hatch. it was magical; i haven’t been this excited in ages. seven chicks of nine fertilized eggs hatched successfully, which is very lucky. the eight chick to hatch, a silkie, is in critical condition and was left in the incubator to recover… i hope to goodness that she makes it
